Successful applicants will become part of a professional production team responsible for handling fresh, chilled, frozen, and processed seafood products that are supplied to supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, wholesalers, and food distributors throughout Hong Kong.

 

 

 

MONTHLY SALARY

 

HK$17,000 per month

 

In addition to the basic monthly salary, employees may also receive overtime pay, attendance incentives, performance bonuses, and other employment benefits in accordance with company policy and operational requirements.

 

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Seafood Factory Worker is responsible for supporting daily production activities inside the seafood processing facility. This position involves handling seafood products carefully while ensuring all packaging, sorting, weighing, labelling, and quality control procedures are completed accurately.

 

Employees are expected to maintain a clean and hygienic workplace at all times while complying with company regulations and Hong Kong food safety standards.

 

This role requires attention to detail, responsibility, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Teamwork is an essential part of the job, as production targets are achieved through close cooperation among all members of the production department.

 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

• Packing fresh seafood products into retail and wholesale packaging.

 

• Packing frozen seafood products according to production schedules.

 

• Sorting seafood by product type, quality, size, and weight.

 

• Weighing products accurately before packaging.

 

• Applying labels according to company specifications.

 

• Sealing packages using manual and automated packaging equipment.

 

• Inspecting seafood products for quality, freshness, and presentation.

 

• Removing damaged or unsuitable products from the production line.

 

• Preparing finished products for storage and shipment.

 

• Organizing products for local distribution and export.

 

• Maintaining cleanliness of production tables, equipment, and workstations.

 

• Cleaning tools and production areas after each work shift.

 

• Following company hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.

 

• Wearing protective clothing and personal protective equipment provided by the company.

 

• Following workplace safety regulations and operational procedures.

 

• Operating simple production equipment after receiving training.

 

• Reporting equipment problems or safety concerns to supervisors.

 

• Assisting with loading and unloading production materials when required.

 

• Supporting inventory preparation and stock organization.

 

• Helping maintain an efficient workflow throughout the production process.

 

• Working closely with supervisors and fellow team members to achieve daily production goals.

 

• Completing additional production-related duties assigned by management.

 

 

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

 

Employees will work inside a clean, organized, and professionally managed seafood processing facility.

 

The production area is temperature-controlled to ensure seafood products remain fresh and meet food safety requirements. Workers should therefore be comfortable performing their duties in a chilled or cold environment for extended periods.

 

Protective clothing and safety equipment required for the job will be provided according to company regulations.

 

Employees are expected to maintain excellent personal hygiene and comply with all sanitation procedures while working inside the production facility.

 

 

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

 

Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

 

• Age between 21 and 45 years.

 

• No previous experience is required.

 

• Complete on-the-job training will be provided.

 

• Physically fit and able to perform manual production work.

 

• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods during working hours.

 

• Able to work in a cold or chilled production environment.

 

• Good attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

 

• Responsible, reliable, and hardworking.

 

• Honest and trustworthy.

 

• Punctual with good attendance.

 

• Able to follow instructions carefully.

 

• Able to perform repetitive production tasks with accuracy.

 

• Willing to work overtime when production requires.

 

• Able to cooperate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

 

• Basic English or Cantonese communication skills are considered an advantage but are not essential.
