Position Summary
The Domestic Helper will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of the household by maintaining cleanliness, preparing meals, assisting with childcare, and ensuring that the home remains safe, comfortable, and well organized at all times.
This role requires someone who enjoys working with children, understands the importance of cleanliness and hygiene, and can efficiently organize household tasks while maintaining a positive attitude throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform a variety of household duties, including but not limited to:
Housekeeping
– Maintain overall cleanliness of the entire residence
– Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all rooms regularly
– Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, and living spaces
– Organize household items and maintain a tidy environment
– Dispose of household waste properly
– Ensure all household areas remain clean and hygienic
Laundry and Clothing Care
– Wash clothing using appropriate washing methods
– Hand wash delicate garments when necessary
– Dry, fold, iron, and organize clothes
– Change bed linens and towels regularly
– Maintain wardrobes and storage areas neatly
Chinese Cooking
The successful applicant should be comfortable preparing daily meals for the family.
Responsibilities include:
– Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner
– Cooking traditional Chinese home-style meals
– Preparing healthy meals suitable for children
– Maintaining kitchen cleanliness
– Washing dishes and kitchen utensils
– Properly storing food and ingredients
– Managing groceries and kitchen inventory when required
Applicants with previous experience cooking Chinese cuisine will have an advantage.
Childcare Responsibilities
Childcare is an important part of this position.
Daily responsibilities may include:
– Assisting the children with their morning routine
