Monthly Salary: HKD 17,000

Working Schedule: 5–6 Days per Week

Working Hours: Shift-based roster in accordance with operational requirements

 

 

 

Position Overview

 

We are currently inviting applications for the position of Campus Cleaner to support the daily operations of a modern educational campus in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, hygienic and pleasant environment for students, lecturers, administrative staff and campus visitors.

Key Responsibilities

 

The Campus Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the campus, including but not limited to the following duties:

 

• Clean classrooms, lecture halls, seminar rooms and laboratories according to daily cleaning schedules.

 

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and polish floors in classrooms, offices, corridors, libraries and public areas.

 

• Clean and disinfect staff offices, reception areas, meeting rooms and administrative departments.

 

• Maintain cleanliness of libraries, study areas, computer rooms and student common rooms.

 

• Clean staircases, lifts, entrances, hallways and other high-traffic areas.

 

• Clean, sanitize and maintain toilets, washrooms, changing rooms and other sanitary facilities.

 

• Empty rubbish bins and recycling containers regularly.

 

• Collect, separate and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental and workplace procedures.

 

• Replace rubbish bags and ensure waste collection points remain clean and organized.

 

• Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels and hand sanitizer when necessary.

 

• Dust and wipe desks, tables, cabinets, shelves, chairs, doors, windows, mirrors and glass surfaces.

 

• Clean walls, partitions, handrails, switches and frequently touched surfaces.

 

• Operate cleaning machines, vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment safely after receiving training.

 

• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment or safety hazards to the supervisor.

 

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

 

• Assist with additional cleaning duties during school activities, examinations, graduation ceremonies or campus events when required.

 

• Ensure all assigned work areas are completed according to company quality standards.

 

• Work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to maintain excellent cleaning performance throughout the campus.

 

 

 

Requirements

 

Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

 

• Open to Hong Kong Local Residents.

 

• No minimum educational qualification required.

 

• No previous cleaning experience is necessary.

 

• Paid training will be provided for successful applicants.

 

• Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning duties.

 

• Able to stand, walk and carry out cleaning tasks for extended periods.

 

• Responsible, honest and trustworthy.

 

• Good attendance and punctuality.

 

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

 

• Able to communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.

 

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

• Willing to work flexible shifts, weekends or public holidays according to the duty roster.
