Job Responsibilities

 

The successful candidate will perform a wide range of cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

 

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

– Clean and maintain hotel lobbies, reception areas, entrances, and waiting lounges.

– Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish all public floor surfaces.

– Clean corridors, hallways, elevators, staircases, escalators, and guest access areas.

– Dust furniture, decorative items, picture frames, shelves, handrails, and display cabinets.

– Polish mirrors, glass doors, glass partitions, stainless steel fixtures, and windows.

– Maintain cleanliness of hotel public washrooms throughout the day.

– Refill toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, air fresheners, and other restroom supplies.

– Empty rubbish bins regularly and replace garbage bags.

– Separate and dispose of waste according to hotel environmental and recycling policies.

– Clean staff areas, service corridors, and employee facilities whenever assigned.

– Maintain banquet halls, conference rooms, meeting rooms, and function areas before and after events.

– Assist with cleaning restaurants, cafés, lounges, fitness centers, business centers, and other guest facilities when necessary.

– Remove stains, fingerprints, dust, and debris from furniture and public surfaces.

– Report damaged furniture, broken equipment, lighting problems, plumbing issues, or other maintenance concerns immediately.

– Ensure emergency exits, corridors, and walkways remain clean and unobstructed at all times.

– Safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and mopping systems.

– Store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety regulations.

– Replenish housekeeping supplies when inventory becomes low.

– Follow all housekeeping schedules assigned by supervisors.

– Complete additional cleaning tasks requested by hotel management.

– Work closely with other housekeeping staff to maintain efficient daily operations.

– Maintain professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene during working hours.

– Observe all hotel hygiene regulations, occupational safety standards, and company policies.

 

Requirements

 

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

– No previous hotel experience is required.

– Complete on-the-job training will be provided.

– Basic English communication skills are preferred but not mandatory.
