Position Overview
HAECO is currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join its Aircraft Cleaning Team at Hong Kong International Airport.
Aircraft Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of aircraft cabins before passengers board. Every cleaned aircraft contributes directly to passenger comfort, airline reputation, and operational efficiency.
This position is suitable for both experienced applicants and individuals who are looking to begin a career in the aviation industry. No previous aircraft cleaning experience is required, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided by the company.
Monthly Salary
HK$16,000–HK$25,000
Actual earnings may vary depending on experience, assigned shifts, overtime hours, operational requirements, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will perform a variety of aircraft cleaning duties, including but not limited to:
– Clean aircraft cabins before, during, and after flight operations.
– Vacuum carpets and remove dust from all passenger seating areas.
– Wipe and disinfect passenger seats, tray tables, armrests, seat belts, seat pockets, window panels, overhead bins, and cabin walls.
– Clean and sanitize aircraft lavatories according to airline hygiene standards.
– Clean aircraft galleys, food preparation areas, storage compartments, and crew workstations.
– Collect, separate, and dispose of waste materials using approved procedures.
– Replace trash bags and ensure waste is handled safely.
– Restock passenger supplies including blankets, pillows, tissues, headrest covers, magazines, safety cards, and other cabin amenities.
– Ensure all cabin equipment is clean and properly arranged before boarding.
– Remove stains and maintain a neat appearance throughout the aircraft interior.
– Assist with deep-cleaning assignments when scheduled.
– Inspect assigned work areas to ensure all cleaning tasks have been completed to company standards.
– Report damaged equipment, missing items, or maintenance concerns to supervisors immediately.
– Use cleaning chemicals, machinery, and equipment safely and responsibly.
– Follow all workplace safety procedures and airport security regulations.
– Complete all assigned tasks within strict aircraft turnaround schedules.
– Maintain excellent teamwork and communication with supervisors and fellow employees.
– Support other operational duties assigned by management when required.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
– No previous work experience required.
– No specific educational qualifications required.
– Open to applicants from all nationalities, subject to legal work authorization requirements.
– Minimum age of 18 years.
– Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties.
– Able to stand, bend, lift, carry, walk, and work for extended periods.
– Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor airport environments.
– Willing to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
– Willing to work overtime whenever operational requirements demand.
– Responsible, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
